"Alien Shore" is of "Counterparts" the fifteenth studio album by Canadian rock band Rush, released on October 19, 1993. It became the band's highest charting album in the US, peaking at #2 on the Billboard 200 (only behind Pearl Jam's Vs.). 19 years later, Rush would later debut at #2 on the Billboard 200 again, with the release of 2012's Clockwork Angels. Atlantic Records has claimed that the album went platinum, although the RIAA has it listed as gold.
